Ordinarily - I would say even going out at the quarters - Hodgson would survive. But if we're the first England side since 1958 to go out in the group stage - his position is completely untenable.
Don't think the suits will give RH the boot - England just do not have the quality at either end of the pitch to hurt decent opposition. Said it before - England do not beat major teams at major competitions. (Last time was 2002!)
That's a good call....a young manager with a young team. Grow together and target the next WC. Pretty sure he'd tell some home truths to players and club managers
Junior Lewis? Dario Gradi, although he used to inappropriately touch them too, allegedly. Roy's doing OK with what he's got available.
Gary Neville would get a big vote from me. Not sure if he has all his badges. I think it's a nonsense to say that you need club experience to manage at international level. He's got bucket loads of international playing experience. Get him in and get our kids fired up. Euro qualifiers with Sterling, Barkley, Sturridge, Welbeck, Ox, Shaw etc.
Stick with Hodgson. Our side isn't great at either end, and if Gary Neville is the best choice for manager based on being decent on telly then what's the point in changing?
The next manager simply cannot look like an owl. That's what disappoints me the most about Hodgson. He looks too much like an owl and no good ever came out of having a man that looks like a f**king owl in charge. FACT.
He's too young. A few years of PL dominance and I really wouldn't be surprised. What with him previously working in the England set-ups.
