I would not say poor as much as just technically bereft. First off anyone talking bollox can chuff off both Gerrard and Rooney gave all they had, Henderson was what 5/10 at best.... At best he was poor. Jagielka let Suarez in behind him for goal one and played him on despite the Gerrard header.... He was average I thought Cahill had a good game, Baines decent but the reality was sturridge was poor and sterling couldn't find a Rythmn... He wasn't positive enough so it was nerves for me All in all it was nervy and England as a whole just were a bundle of nerves and lacked composure
I blame the Premiership and the clubs that won't give the English boys a chance! You can dress it up as much as you want but the Billions that have been spent on the Premiership have been to the detriment of the national team. For a country of 65 Million people we can't produce 3 or 4 world class players is just truly shocking!
