England have looked rather disjointed, but the ref's had a poor game, giving the South Americans quite a few dodgy decisions and Godin should definitely be off.
The left side in front of Baines is totally barren again, with only occasional appearances from Welbeck and the odd one from Sterling.
Rooney's only really been involved from set-pieces and the defence looks very exposed when Uruguay break.

England obviously have to get at least one goal. But as in the first game, some of their movement and passing was better than in the past few tournaments. The difference so far is that Uruguay look like their lives depend on this game and England don't.

I thought you meant dubious refs letting scumbags get away with ludicrous fouls. That I'd agree with.
Thankfully I don't support any International team so only have to put up with spurs crushing my soul!

We need Lallana on, too many players in our attack making poor touches or passes the make it difficult for the recipient. Welbeck off, hopefully.

So far as I thought the two players with England connections have been instrumental against us. It's like Spurs mark 2 when ex players score against us. I'm still hopeful.
Rooney's miss was the perfect example of lost confidence. He just couldn't believe it was a perfect cross, he'd timed his jump perfectly, and all he needed to do was meet the ball with his head in a natural position. So on the assumption the ball was behind him, he bends his head back at a weird angle and heads it straight upward.
On the bright side, we may not hear how we have to build the team around Rooney in 2018.

And Hart nearly knocks another ball he should have caught straight into a Uruguayan at point blank range while falling down.
