Our support IS fractured though and virtually impossible to get a cross section of interests unless you have a committee of 30+ A little group of 'man in the street types' apathetic to key issues and just moaning about pies is frightening, representatives from the plethora of current forums and groups is absolutely required.
It was a perfectly reasonable point that originalminority made, as the largest Hull City fan group, CTWD do need to be represented if the club want any credibility from this initiative. It obviously won't be exclusively CTWD, I'm sure there'll be a large cross-section of supporters, the previous FLAG group was very good, if it's similar people I think it could be very useful.
Stop stirring it, Happy. If the Club is prepared to discuss AA's name-change plans, it will be a good thing. Surely? And if the old duffer would be prepared (after proper consultation/discussion) to hold a proper vote on his wizard wheeze, that can only be a good thing. Surely?
In almost 50 years of being a supporter of HULL CITY iv never been in the supporters club or a fans group. I will join this and anyone who has an opinion about things should do the same . Are you going to join Mr Happy . Could be a good way for all views to be aired .
Can't knock the sentiment behind such a move. I think that CTWD elected representatives should not engage within it's representative group. Distance is a good thing in such matters. You should all feel the inscrutable arm of Allam sleathily being inserted into your nether regions. The next phase of the name-change battle commences, or is it now lost? NOBODY tells him how to run his business, but an eclectic bunch will advise (?) on the professional aspects of merchandising, ticketing issues and, hmmmmm, running a business. How do the club decide who represents the fans? How do we (the fans) know what these 'representatives' erm, represent? I don't want to see any fans group overloaded with OSC committee men either, because they only have just over 1,000 members so how can that be representative? The club should tell us how many they want in this fans group and anyone interested should lobby for votes like an MP or a councillor has too. At least we might get to know what these people stand for, where they come from, and who they are.
Yeah unfortunately we have plenty of those on here who just want Prem at all costs, and to be left alone to gawp in reverential silence at the KC.
Well leaving aside the fact I'm a quiet and unassuming chap who's quite shy, its a just under 300 mile round trip for me, so, no I won't be. I already have a representative at the club in any case, one I'm very happy with, and one I trust to do right by the club. It's a fascination, not a vendetta. Much like.... ...this dopey **** has with me. I can guarantee he wouldn't do a 300 mile round trip every other weekendish too. So by mentioning CTWD, you consider me to have a vendetta against them? So you think everyone who mentions the owner in a non positive light also has a vendetta against them? That's pretty sad.
Apparently Andy off AN has been invited. As he has stated he isnt going to get a season pass this season and represents about ten people who post on AN is he representative??
I think Dalts has probably been invited because he runs one of the best City online fanzines and goes to every game home and away, but I'm only guessing.
