Betting: Colombia 11-10, Ivory Coast 13-5, Draw 9-4.

    Team News

Colombia coach Jose Pekerman caused a surprise when he didn not select Jackson Martinez for the Greece clash.
However, in the wake of that result, the Porto attacker may once again have to settle for a place on the bench.
Fredy Guarin may return from suspension, but a muscle injury will prevent striker Carlos Bacca from featuring.
Ivory Coast, meanwhile, will be without striker Didier Ya Konan when the Elephants face Colombia in Brasilia on Thursday.
The Hanover forward, who helped inspire the comeback against Japan last week after coming off the bench, suffered a knee injury that will keep him out.
However, Stuttgart defender Arthur Boka is available after returning to training despite limping off with a calf problem against Japan.

    Match Notes

Two of the world's great underachievers clash in Brasilia where a win would put the victors in a strong position toq qualify.
Both won their opening games and, for their first ever clash, both will consider this a game they can win.
Stat of the game: In eight of their last 10 World Cup games, Ivory Coast have scored at least 2 goals.

Thankfully they banned the dude with the vuvuzela, nows its just the annoying maracas every second all game.

Its beyond me how anyone thinks that's atmosphere.

It's beyond me how someone can find something to moan about on every single thread. Do you have a stomach ulcer?

Ivory Coasts right back Serge Aurier is seriously good. I know Arsenal are tracking him and are favourites to sign him but he would be a dream signing for us. He would easily be among the top 3 right backs in the Premier League.

Great header from the midget but that goalie has a serious fault, he makes himself small by crouching and then anything up high beats him, like the shot through his hands onto the post band the goal.

I've got Rodriguez in my dream team. Happy with that.

That was some Cameroon type defending, all stemmed from an awful corner by your man Norway!

Well done gervinho, you were rewarded for not cheating that time.

Turned into a real end to end game now.

:) plenty of others more at fault than him for that goal.

He did have two assists in the last game though, Beckham'esque :D

Normally I'd say that was the worst corner of the tournament but I think Rooney has that sewn up!

There's no midfield now, both teams playing a 5-0-5.

Try looking for positives instead of negatives all the time. He has just been hailed as the best right back of the tournament so far. Immense going forward and fantastic crosses.

Now the farce of a player faking injury, the team plays on and its stopped when the other team gets the ball.

    Then its not restarted properly.

I'd fine my players if they kicked the ball out or gave it back to the other team!

Infuriating! Credit to Webb for trying to play on but there is a disease in the game with this urge to play the ball out.

He's been fast in this game but had no end product.

Sorry, not impressed based on this game. Especially when his corner led to the winning goal.
