I decided we should play Uraguay instead, as they don't have Suarez.:emoticon-0111-blush

It seems my plan didn't work, Suarez is starting.

Uruguay team to play England: Muslera, Caceres, Gimenez, Godin, Pereira, Gonzalez, Rios, Lodeiro, Rodriguez, Cavani, Suarez.

I think you all will win this game. I expect you will come out to prove something.

England team unchanged: Hart; G. Johnson, Cahill, Jagielka, Baines; J. Henderson, Gerrard; Sterling, Rooney, Welbeck; Sturridge.

Presumably Rooney will be in the middle and Sterling out wide.

He was always going to play in this one even on one leg.

This could be a high scoring game as both teams have dire defences.

Shame that Woy left Ashley Cole behind. Baines is the new Zayette.

Very surprised we are unchanged after the lacklustre devoid of ideas second half performance against Italy. Baines and Henderson in particular are lucky to keep their places. Woy obviously thinks Shaw is not ready for the big occasion but why not play Barclay or Lallana who looked impressive when they came on. Also hope we'll see Lambert at some point. If we lose this one Woy will be gone...thank goodness.

We played well against Italy. No need to change the team. Tweak the formation sure, but the pace we showed was impressive. Uragay are slow, ponderous and carthorsy.

Suarez is unfit and toothy. If Alex Bruce can keep him in check.....

Rooney to come good. Sturridge to be on fire. Defence to hold firm.

    3-0 minimum.

Be aware that I've been drinking for quite a while now.
