reputation.... ok.. fair enough... but the only way to do that is to win things. ask tobes. gareth barry is apprently a great player but at villa i thought he was a donkey, and think hes a donkey now and yet a couple of medals at city seems to have given his reputation. if lallana can win something at southampton all the best but i reckon by august 15th there'll be a transfer request bombshell. of course koeman could pull the wool over his eyes who knows...
Really hope this is true: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...Shaqiri-losing-Southamptons-Adam-Lallana.html I like Lallana, but £25m+ v £16m is a no-brainer.
i worry that we are actually being used by the player to get a different deal. if its in any way real ti'll show if one good year can change a clubs outlook or not. CL for one year... will it mean a player like this takes us seriously or do we see him using us for a better deal?
Barry has always suffered due to is versatility. He's played LB, LM, AM and DM as far as I can remember. His best period was at Villa on the left of a central three, he even got a fair few goals from that position whilst offering good protection to the LB. Similar can be said for Milner but on the right of the three. However, Downing and A.Young both looked great at Villa too.
I want Sanchez for no other reason than the obligatory "Dirty Sanchez" headlines if he ever gets a yellow (or red) card. Rooney falls victim to dirty Sanchez maneuver. Costa on his knees after encounter with dirty Sanchez. The options are limitless.
Yeah I saw him stretchered off 6 months out ... Had to be carried off the park shoulder high it was that bad
hilarious. i even read we were after valencia of all people this morning after barca neraly enven bankrupt paying way over the offical figure for neymar... frankly that story holds no water. its also way off the fee for foreign club so its like whatever.... the spanish will write anything now to distract from spain cos wirting about spain won't sell papers.
