I am Irish, not 'Glasgow Irish'. I do not get offended by a joke (or song for that matter) about something that happened 160 years ago.
Not many Swiss in Britain though were there? ****loads of Irish though. I never attacked Ireland though, but it would've been understandable if Ireland had allied with Britain, considering they have so many ex-pats over here who were effectively under German attack. Germany never actually planned to annex Britain as such.
Anyway back to old ****s.Why do they drive slow as **** as well ? was just stuck behind this old fart for ages.20MPH old dick
It would have been impossible for that to happen. If you knew Irish history we would not be having this discussion.
Think that's right. There has to be a cut off point though. In the news yesterday this old guy knocked this young girl down at some Orange parade and at the inquest he just said he can't remember. That can't be allowed. They get free bus passes at 65 anyway so that should maybe be the cut off point imo.
I don't know much Irish history, but I understand that there is, was and probably always will be a lot of animosity towards England/Britain from the Irish. But surely you'd take us over the Nazis?
The Nazis were scumbags. What they done to the Jews was unforgivable. It's all hindsight though. Who knew what was going on? You have to see it in context though. When people say 'oh you would be speaking German if the Brits hadn't fought the Nazis' I think that I would be speaking Irish and not English if it were not for the Brits. People in Britain always look at things through blinkers as the excesses of what your country has done all over the world in the name of Empire is probably not taught in schools. I like the English though, lived in Longsight in Manchester for a couple of years and love the city.
Some old people are nice. Some are ****s. That's how it works. There's a lot of young ****s around too.
