    The folks that settled Atlantic Canada/the Eastern seaboard in the US weren't terribly clever...you'd be hard-pressed to find a place in England whose name wasn't appropriated at least once.

    On a slightly cultural note, went up to see the stage show of Let The Right One In at the Apollo tonight. Really very good, and tickets are going pretty cheap (can go for a tenner now) as it comes towards what seems a natural close. Worth going to see.

    Likewise. It's a really good adaptation so do try. All the reviews were 5 star jobs - I wouldn't quite go that far, but well worth ten quid.

    Sounds like someone somehow ended up in the water and later died.

    Edit: Confirmed, a man has died in hospital after being pulled from the water.
