That article states he's still getting paid by Sunderland till 1st July.
Wonder how they feel paying for him to parade in his Toon kit.

I think his comments are mostly harmless except when he states playing for Sunderland was "just a job". That's pretty ungrateful when talking about a club which took him on as a youngster, developed him and gave him opportunities in the first team. I'd actually prefer it if he kept his mouth shut but he's possibly concerned he needs to get supporters onside.

Sunderland did mess up a chunk of their contracts this summer and the number of players who they have to replace seems risky but I don't think Colback is their biggest loss.
