Agree with Dan, not 100% sure on Pelle or Immers, in fact I'd really be dubious if we signed Immers. Pelle I can sort of understand because Koeman knows the guy and how to play him, although his goal record may just because he's playing against awful/ inexperienced defenders. There's other players from Feyenoord or the Dutch League in general that I'd rather Koeman pursues, De Vrij Clasie Finnbogason etc, because of their age and potential to grow and adapt.

On another point, I watched the Russia v South Korea game last night, and noticed there was a player called Aleksandr Kokorin playing up top. From what I've heard of him, he's much like Jay Rod in that he's very quick, fairly tall and comes off the left flank into the box. Not sure how much Dinamo Moscow would want for him, but surely the Premier League would be an attractive proposition?

I do agree with PTF here. That stat needs to be presented in context, unless you work for the Daily Mirror. It's the equivalent of saying that Jonno Forte had an immaculate shots on target ratio last season for Saints.

People are inherently lazy and won't cross-reference.

Not my fault people are lazy is it? It depends when them 109 misplaced paces were as well. 109 is 109 in whatever context.

That's fair enough, they've got Champions League. I do think we need a tall striker to replace Lambert with another quicker striker, possibly one that comes off the flank, then we should be okay. After that GK, CB, and an attacking midfielder is a must. Replacements for Lovren, Lallana and Shaw as well if they go are a must.

To which you've added some pretty terrible spelling, punctuation and grammar.

If Lallana wants out, I say if. I don't mind if we get 15 to 20 mil with borini thrown in. He was by far the best Sunderland player last season. That would be a bloody good deal.

I saw an article that Feyernoord must keep their top stars if Ronald Koeman comes in for them. So this is what it feels like when the shoe is on the other foot as the saying goes.

What has happened to the Mirror, it must be breaking someone's heart to be linking us with perhaps buying someone! <laugh>
Still a crap rag, even if they've found a new target.

The talk of transfers out is a balancing act. I don't mind if Shaw leaves, I don't mind if Lallana leaves and I could live with Lovren going (though I think he'd be the biggest loss).

All 3 going as well as Lambert though? That seems like trouble.
