Played longest or most appearances? Speed was up there last time I checked in terms of appearances, but in terms of how long a player has been playing in the Premier League, I'd say Scholes would be a closer bet.
Without google I'd go Giggs, Scholes. Scholes first appearance was in 1993/4 I think, and he retired officially in 2013. Speed was at Leeds prior to the Premier League's inception, but died before Scholes retired, but he'd already been retired a year or so I think. Really you're looking at the class of 92 for your answer, so it's probably between Scholes and Phil Neville after Giggs.
