Edinburgh has its problems like any city but it's nowhere near as bad as Glasgow. People think Edinburgh is like it is in Trainspotting but they forget or don't realise that the story is set in the 1980s. Edinburgh has grown to be one of the most financially powerful cities in the world and is regularly voted in the top three places to live or visit.
I know. To be honest I am non religious so any human suffering, be it Prod Cath Muslim etc I see it in the same light. A lower expected life span than Gaza though...
"Glasgow...life expectancy at birth at 73.7 years overall. For females, it's 77 years. For males it's just 70.5 years." "Gaza...breaks down to 71.01 years for men and 73.73 years for women." Men in Gaza live, on average, longer than men in Glasgow.
Actually Fraserburgh and Peterhead are bad for drugs use because of the money that fishers make. Lots of runners go up there from the Midlands in England.
Not according to Forbes. Their top 10 in 2008 was: 1.London 2.Hong Kong 3.New York 4.Tokyo 5.Chicago 6.Seoul, Korea 7.Paris 8.Los Angeles 9.Shanghai, China 10.Toronto
still strange that it's not in the capital though. Also, do you have any big football clubs over there? Do you build any multi milllion pound war ships for the royal navy?
But if they're not in the top ten, where are they? And what leads you to believe they'd be anywhere near it. Manchester is never voted in the top 10 nicest places to visit, but I could easily claim that it's number 11.
So what if the national football stadium isn't in Edinburgh? Murrayfield is and it's a bigger and better stadium than that pile of ****e. How many ships do the build now? Do you think this is the 1950s?
Does that matter? You said Edinbrugh was in the top two or three in most votes. Is it **** as like. Someone gave you evidence and as usual you spout ****e to counter it with no evidence back. It's 4 o'clock, time for our daily fight bawbag.
I would say, considering that there are over 5,000 cities in the world being in the top 50 most financially powerful would be not bad going for a small city like Edinburgh.
