With Conway on board preferring to come to us because of MM and the rumour of Goodie joining him what do think of our chances of signing Steven Whittaker, last year of his contract so shouldn't cost to much.

Well he is refusing to sign a new contract at Rangers apparently, I don't know how much is on the table, but the club are said to be anxious to keep him, so I should imagine it's a generous offer, so he wouldn't be cheap, even if he didn't cost that much initially.............still a cheeky phone call wouldn't hurt..........although I shouldn't think Rangers are very happy with us at the moment ;)

There's a bit of a merry go round here which makes things worse.

We sign players from Rangers or from under their noses. We sell Celtic players / let them have them on frees!

Is MM a left fotter or a right footer?

so f*cking what, celtic have taken players off us for free, and we've taken other players for free. if they want to keep him they'll pay him what he wants, if not he'll leave either at the end of the season, or now to bursaspor or possibly a championship team. i would have thought £1m would be considered by rangers, but they have a new owner so they may play hardball, who knows.

Rangers have rejected £750k bid from Burssaspor so im guessing 1mil might get him ....problem is with whitts is the same with Naismith and Goodwillie is that they are all Diehard rangers fans.

Unfortunately means **** all to the modern footballer for 95% of them it's the wages that count

Actually, it was 750K euros not pounds - about half a mill in Sterling.

A full mill offer from us and Craig Whyte would bite our hands off with just a year left on his contract.
