As a principle I'm not watching Brazil games. I'm sure I saw 3 teams better than them. BTW I'll take the big bottom beer any time...

    The Mexico keeper was outstanding.

    Mexican keeper was excellent.

Well, I've seen enough of Brazil to think they won't win it, unless there is a massive improvement.

To me I see the winners coming from, Argentina, Germany or Holland. France look tidy as well.

South american football has gone down hill in my estimation. I can really see a European club winning the world cup and Holland and Germany must be fairly confident that they are the teams that can do it...

None of the big south american teams have been good, Argies just about made it over the line, Brazil have been pretty crap, Uruguay got well beaten by Costa Rica, just crap tbh.

I can see it being either Holland or Germany, although I still haven't totally written Spain off yet, I know they were crap against Holland, but we all know that Spain had a mare along with Holland playing well.

Not as good as Russia's though! Korea's number 9 was pretty good too (from the highlights) <whistle>

Well done Mexico but thought they showed a lack of conviction in the final third, hence all the long shots. Brazil are going to need a lot more ref/fifa help to win this tournament.

That is a worry as anyone who plays Brazil will have to play against 15 players....

Did you not see the ref NOT give Marcelo the pen? Of course it doesn't help when the majority of the crowd are screaming at every tackle, the ref will make mistakes, but yesterday for me was enough to see the refs are not paid or overly biased, Mexico should have had countless yellows, but he let them get away with it, with just free kicks.

I was watching the game on and off but don't remember the incident, so that's probably a "yes" to your question :p I was being somewhat tongue-in-cheek, regarding their first game.

He played, got yellowed. I don't think he had a great game but I wasn't paying that much attention tbh. You should record the highlights show every morning for the games you miss, it was worth seeing just for the Russian keeper's howler for Korea's goal. You could see it coming though, he was awful.
