    Sometimes I take a quick look at news now, just to remind myself that everything that happened in the last 24 hours was in my imagination, and Saints are still selling everyone - especially Chambers. Sigh.

    There's more than one way to skin a cat. If, for example we signed two young strikers like Origi and Guidetti - hungry and with a point to prove (and the potential to be excellent all round players) to compliment what we already have then I'd be quite happy.

    There's always a chance we spend a bit more on a 'proven' goalscorer a la Benteke, Hernandez or Pelle - in which case I'd be equally happy if a little more expectant.

    Jay can obviously play more down the middle if needed and, possibly after a short loan spell, I expect Sam Gallagher to improve further this year.

    No one is irreplaceable it's just a)dissapointing to see 'club' players leave and b)it's obviously mroe difficult to integrate a large number of signings/players not used to the club.

    Still very excited about next season. Bring on Liverpool.
