Seems to have done well for Germany, scoring a hat trick. Under 25. Would be a great strike partner for Charlie.
He is a top bloke with a lot of humor and a very dangerous striker as well - actually he is the only likeable player at Bayern but I am afraid he will never leave them again.
Maybe this time in eight years time. We can watch a world cup and look at players like this and say yep he might want to come and play for us.
When the **** did he act? Most stupid thing I've read on here! He got struck in the face and went down, it was unintentional from Pepe and correctly no free kick given. He didn't try and con anyone and made nothing of it, no gesticulations. You can't blame Muller for Pepe's complete lack of class and professionalism. Spot on red card. Back on topic though, I take this is a joke? Right? He will never leave Munchen, he's a local legend already and destined for a job in the club after his playing career.
He got a little flick in the face and went down like hed been shot, he wasnt hurt which was proven by how he jumped up so quickly when he got mad. Hes an actor and diver.
Ridiculous and way off. Are you blaming him for reacting to Pepe's stupidity? Unbelievable. Of course he wasn't hurt, he got hit in the face ffs, but he WAS hit in the face. He should be commended for his show of restraint, I would have decked Pepe
Just to put Muller's actions into perspective: on the 1-10 World Cup Playacting Scale, what he did was about a 3.5 There have been far worse so far in just a few days, and yet the ONLY reason people are talking about him is because of Pepe's moronic reaction. If you want to call for people to be banned, there are far more worthy people, however, you can't remember them because the opponent had the common sense and intelligence not to throw his head in. Were Pepe my player, I'd have just put him on a plane.
Yes, Pepe was moron and totally deserved to be sent off while Muller was acting a lot and there for he is a bit cheat. The thing that muller played a marvellous match does not over rule his actions.
I didn't say it did. However, his actions is NOT the reason that Pepe got sent off. I hate when people playact to get opponents booked or sent off, but that's not the case here. He just looked a bit of a tit.
his reaction was the reason, not the reaction after the head touch but the reaction of throwing himself to the floor after a little flick to the face. and yes, i do want everyone banned, id give yellows to anyone rolling around and not allowed treatment on the pitch unless they get subbed. id also give a player 5 seconds to make an attempt to get up, if he doesnt, the ref stops it and he has to be subbed as hes either got a serious injury or faking.
Pepe reacted because of Mullers reactions, a minor brush off was followed by a dramatic fall, yes Pepe deserved his red card, he has always had a wire loose, what angered me more was the German bench leaping up and punching the air when the red card was shown, German efficiency at its best.
It's great to see that nobody on THIS thread is over-reacting. No hint of irony in that statement whatsoever (but it IS dripping with sarcasm....)
