At least they have both been knocked out now so no further interuption to the F1 coverage, although we have still got to witness the inevitable bursting of the Murray delusion which can't come soon enough.

What can you do, they have tunnel vision and see Hamilton on the track on the other end.

I reckon the best overtakers are.

KOB-MSC-HAM, the fan-base in Britain is massive for F1, it's a shame in a way, when one driver has a bad race the world ends and people write and write about how he was unlucky that he is slow, if I did this all the time I would get it in the neck for being a Schumacher (w.u.m.), bu it's OK when it is Hamilton.

If you are slow, you are slow, no excuse, I have grown to accept that when Schumacher should be running higher (with a suitable car) it's his own responsibility to do so. When Hamilton is running slower/or is driving into other cars (in a suitable car), it's another drivers fault.
People need to wake up to the fact that drivers make errors, and you have to swallow that fact, however hard it is.

And that some people on forums have a hidden agenda, and may not be as neutral as they make out to be, such as these "anonymous" text senders for example.

I may have grown out of sending massively biased messages but amazingly the people that preach against it still do it.
    Practice what you preach.

The sooner he goes out the better, though I think a lot of the hysterical fans you see at Wimbledon supporting him on the hill are locals, I mean I'd go there for a day out if I lived nearby. Hopefully we will get the F1 forum OK on sunday on the red button, not sure if there is any tennis going on then.

You would of thought that the amount of cuts the BBC have to do, they would be promoting F1 far more and not just be second to some ****ty tennis match.

BBC: "Ooooooo... Andy Murray got past the first knockout stage against Davided Kyefpwefrog and the GIRLS Ooooooo... well they both got kicked out by their better rivals, but they did show great pride with their skill and kept a stiff upper lip and will of course come back even stronger next year and hopefully do good old british women proud.....Oh and Alonso was top on FP2, that's all the sport, see you in half an hour with more ball hitting snooty ****ers."

I wouldn't get too excited, it's FP1 and this sort of 'top 4' isn't exactly unuaual this season.

As to Wimbledon, i can get there in about 10 mins, if it's sunny I might go watch from the hill, there's more than tennis there to look at you know.

BTW can you put my SV vote in pls, I forgot what day it was.

Yeah Sunday should be fine because there is no tennis on the middle Sunday of Wimbledon. The thing I can't stand about Murray is the media and the commentators they are just so unashamedly biased and deluded, they think he is up there with Nadal, Federer and Djokovic when he is not he is way below their level, and they build him up at every grand slam pretending he has got a chance to win it, plus the commentators can be unbareable at times with their 'spin' and obvious bias. It also does not help that Murray is so mardy, petulant and constantly makes excuses for his failings. Irrelevant rant over. <steam>

Andy Murray is ****, anybody who thinks he's as good as Djokovic let alone Nadal and Federer needs to take off their rose tinted glasses because he's plain ****, like Narain ****....

Tennis needs to **** off to Sky and do the majority viewers on the BBC who hate Wimbledon a favour.

he may not do all the overtaking, but he seems to be the most talked about driver regardless of what he does.

further more he has been voted most exciting driver but many, including the drivers.irvine recently said lewis is why f1 is worth watching.

i think ppl only have a problem when ppl support lewis if they are not fans themselves, and most of you on here are not fans of lewis.on other forums however he has many fans and so noone is bothered by a persons 2 texts.

He also said Hamilton has lost the plot. But I guess that backs up your point

Yeah you are right this forum is actually called notHamilton606. And I like how your argument includes a made up vote and Eddie Irvine's opinion. <laugh>

Same. Eddie Irvine's comments this week really got on my nerves: "Lewis is the only driver in F1 worth watching". Yes Eddie, because the Canadian grand prix was painfully boring as soon as Hamilton retired. <doh>

Anyway, back to this weekend. Looking very close for qualifying, we've had this before and Red Bull have locked out the front row, but they won't magically find 6 tenths between Q2 and Q3 this weekend. That said I'm still backing Seb for pole. The RB7 is seriously quick without the off-throttle diffuser blowing, as can be seen by Q2 when they're usually first despite not exploiting it fully.

Alonso has been a lot slower than Massa in the speed traps, and Button slower than Hamilton, so unless they're running completely different setups I expect JB and Alonso to have a little in hand. Could get a five way fight for pole. :D

I actually reckon the RB's have been caught out with the new ban.

I don't know....they both look quick and Sebastian was improving on his time by about 2-3 tenths in the second sector before he just went into the pits. They look mighty in certain sectors and even Alonso believes they are still the team to beat.
