Fantastic, shame about the last 20 mins, but what a great film..that Di Caprio ****er played a grand part.

    Best movie of recent years?

I was disappointed with it to be honest. It's too similar to Goodfellas without nearly reaching the same heights.

It feels like Scorsese decided to take Goodfellas, get rid of gangsters in exchange for bankers and then get rid of a cracking soundtrack for a ****e one.

Found it really overrated and expected a bit better from Marty.

Amazing film and like everyone else the highlight for me was the bird. So weird seeing Di Caprio doing films like that though, I still jsut think of him as a young man doing titanic <laugh>

I thought it was great, best film of the year by a mile. Jordon Belford was on the radio saying they actually had to tame down the reality for the film as it would be too graphic and unbelieveable.

You're well behind there mate. Di Caprio is as near to a guaranteed good film as you can get over the last few years. Titanic very much an exception to his normal roles.

Check out Inception, Shutter Island, Blood Diamond, the Departed for starters.

Couldn't agree more, the best out there for me.

I loved Catch Me If You Can as well, he's great at playing characters. Blood Diamond was a great film.

Shutter Island, love the way it ends. Was he nuts was he not nuts, watched it 3 times still can't decide what I think. Class.

I thought one of his best performances was in Django Unchained, he was outstanding.

The Departed, yet another excellent movie, he's been in.

Django Unchained was unreal, loved that film. Shutter Island was incredible as well.

My favourite film with Di Caprio in is Gangs of New York, but more because of Daniel Day Lewis than Di Caprio, didn't really like Inception or The Departed. The guy deserves an Oscar more than any other actor walking around without one mind, he's generally top drawer.

Wolf Of Wall Street was fantastic, the cast it perfectly, especially the lead role and a master stroke casting Matthew McConaughey, who's probably the best actor out there at the minute.

If you've not seen Dallas Buyers Club, give that a watch as well, it's a brilliant film.

    Agree with most of that.

Also... If you've not seen True Detective you're not a proper human yet.

I'm flat out not allowed to watch TV Series. They consume my life, so I have to ignore them all. I manage Breaking Bad (currently at the beginning of series 4) because I have it on Ultra Violet so I can watch it when I'm flying, that should see me ok for a while.

I don't envisage myself making the transaction to proper human for quite some time!

Only 8 episodes mate... No monster 23 episode series. Think of it as the best 8 hour film ever made.
