Mignolet, Vermaelen, Fellaini, Januzaj and Mirallas have to wait for their chance. Can't see anything other than a comfortable win for Belgium, tbh.

Really want to see what the Belgians can do.

Considering all the big stars have shown up so far (bar Ronaldo ), I'm hoping that Hazard has a great game.

How can a team that nearly everyone is tipping to do well be a dark oss?

Just to be difficult I reckon 1-0 to the Algerians.

However I think Belgium could prove to be a dark horse in this competition so I fully expect them to win.

 

I thought Ronaldo looked just as brilliant as usual when the game was actually competitive, he had one run down the left where he just burned the German midfield and defence, you can't exactly blame him for not singlehandedly overturning a 2-0 deficit against Germany with 10 men

 

The Algerian starting 11 don't look too bad, bench is a tad Cityish but they don't look like push overs.

 

I like the commentator before the game started.

"It would be disrespectful to call Portugal Ronaldo + 10 men,,," to the other commentator "Who else DO they have?"

 

One run down the left does not make him 'just as brilliant as usual'.

Difference being Messi actually did do something (scored and his cross for the own goal), ergo he still showed up in some form.

Though he was the worst of the bunch until Ronaldo. Funny how the two biggest disappointments have been the two best players in the World.

To be fair to Ronaldo, he was clearly not 100% fit anyway. If I had been Portugal manager I would've taken him off at 3-0/half time.

The best player so far has easily been Robben.

 

We need a Belgian. Pick one and email the club with his name, tell em to get their finger out.
