    Not bad eh?

"The Premier League's top scorer, Luis Suarez, is also extremely prolific at international level. His record is by far the best of Europe's current top strikers, and rightfully earns him top spot in our top 10. Suarez is enjoying a remarkable campaign, and it seems as though Uruguay are starting to benefit from his brilliant form as Liverpool have been."

Lets hope he leaves his scoring boots in the dressing room on Thursday

    Rubbish.

    Higuain better 20 in 37
Neymar also much better 33 in 50
    Aguero close... 21 in 51
    Balotelli 13 in 31

How many other 'European' (play in Europe) strikers have you left off your list?

    Out of the oldies:
Klose has an incredible 69 in 132
    Villa 59 in 96

    False AMs
    Muller 21 in 50

We need our racist centre half to pocket your cultural racist CF.

What's the ratio of goals per games in the Prem for strikers from Chelsea, Arsenal, City and Utd in the last 25 games between those clubs?

You seem to be avoiding answering?

I have no idea. Get your racist tea lady to work it out.

Ask your racist tea lady to check your racist's stats. Bet she serves him a matte but no cafe for Evra<laugh>

The reason you won't post the figures is because the players in question have scoring stats on par with the "flat track bully"

    <laugh>

Here's a bit more on your favourite subject.

... well last night put that bollox firmly to bed <laugh> I make that 43 goals in 79 internationals (consistent enough for you Mathh?)... given that the little bugger could not have been 100% fit having had a knee op four weeks ago, that was singularly the most impressive display against England at a World Cup since Maradonna in the hand-of-god game ... it is also worth remembering that the Uruguay team is drawn from a total population one third the size of London ... so it's not that the guy has a team of world beaters around him either ...

... about time some of the doubters on this thread had the good grace to admit just how good the bloke is ...

Suarez was as very good as Gerrard was very bad. But what was he up against? Jags, Baines and Johnson with Henderson and Gerrard, still in shock from the Chelsea match.

Of course, Suarez is a very good player. But was he bullying a flat track in Gerrard and co last night?

Anyway, when Liverpool play Champions League he will be able to prove his worth against quality opposition like Real, Bayern etc.

Sure he can do it v the best, just playing at a club like Liverpool has given him few opportunities

Hmmm ... don't some of those Spanish players play for Real? ... do you think Azpilicueta's bum will have healed from the new one he got ripped by the Chilieans, come the new season? ... but on the positives ... I have no doubts that Diego Costa will prove to be a far better signing than Luiz Suarez ever has <laugh> ...

Obvious that you have something of an agenda with the scousers ... as does Matth ... from a neutral perspective I thought Jordan Henderson had a pretty good second half last night and Sturridge has played well in both games ...

None of the current back four are true international class ...

For me Roy got it wrong last night - Costa Rica (rather like Chile) blitzed their opposition with counter-attacking pace ... Roy had the potential for similar at his disposal with the likes of Shaw and Oxlaide-Chamberlain ... and he could have brought them in for Baines and Wellbeck respectively ... Baines did get forward and did get a few crosses in, particularly in the second half, but Luke Shaw would have done far more of it and made the Urugyans commit far more fouls as they would have struggled with his sheer pace ... it was a game we had to win but Roy was, IMHO too conservative ... undone by two class finishes without doubt but our defending was pedestrian at best and we could have offered far more offensively ...

Agree Fosse, nor the CMS. And Suarez bullied them. But when he comes up against class like Chellini and Pirlo not Jags and Gerra, he loses it, because he can't bully them

.. harsh ... my own view is that he is just rather simnplistic ... I just happened to be watching FIFA's 'lip reader' coverage and just before the 'incident' Edison Cavani can be seen exclaiming "... all this running is making me ravenous ... anybody else fancy eating Italian?" ... Suarez's brow creases quizically momentarily and then .... <whistle>

All the posters coating Matth and Woy look stupid now.

Suarez is still a work in progress: he can't handle big games when things aren't fink his way
