[Liverpool set to steal £7million Gunners target 01:00 PM 24 June, 2011 Liverpool Football Club are set to make a move for Moussa Sissoko. The 21-year-old is rated as one of the best young midfield players in France, where he is currently under contract at Toulouse until 2013. TalkSPORT suggest the Ligue 1 club are prepared to listen to offers for Sissoko during the summer as they look to raise funds, with a fee of £7million likely to force a sale. Arsenal are known admirers of the France international, but sources in France claim Kenny Dalglish is set to steal in ahead of the Londoners to take him to Anfield. Such a deal would be a huge boost for the Reds boss, who is hoping to steer his side to a top-four finish next term following a two-year exile from the UEFA Champions League. Haven't heard much about him. I'll find some videos of him and then come back and tell you if I think he is any good.
He's excellent value for £7m. I'd take him for £16m, if I'm honest. If we get this kid, and let him play the ball-winning midfielder role that he's oh so good at, then we're looking very, very good for the future. This has excited me immensely.
Good player, worth £7m. Only thing is, Liverpool are buying quite a few midfielders, how will they all fit in the team? Because the player in question is definetly starting eleven material.
France seem to have a good mix of these types of players since the time of Makelele and Viera. You hae M'Bia, M'Vila, Sissoko, Lass Diarra, Alou Diarra, and I am sure there are others, Matuidi who we have been linked with as well.
At this current moment - no. But he will be. This kid, if coached well, could be the best in the world in his role.
