Shaw's Shack Redemption - The Off-Topic Chat Thread

You know what annoyed me yesterday? Sky Atlantic has this show after GoT where they basically discuss what's just happened, and last night's episode got a bit spoiler-y. The presenters and couple of GoT enthusiasts they were interviewing kept hinting about a bit in the books, which they were surprised wasn't included in the final episode and must be at the beginning of next series. Then they showed a picture which supposedly has something to do with it (but made no sense to me, thankfully). Why do that?

Yeah, I watched it, but to be honest, even though I've read the books, I still had no idea what they were referring to - as a result, I looked it up, and to be honest they're getting in a fuss about nothing. Really, when people who've read the books start complaining about the series, they're being arses. It's the first thing I've seen where the series is probably better than the books.

 

Just reading that some of the next season of GoT might be filmed in Spain. Andalusia = Dorne, apparently. I really hope we get to see lots of Dorne. More Martells, plus a return for Myrcella Lannister. Apparently we're going to have a hard time remembering a bunch of new names. I'm ready for that. In fact I can't wait a year. Gimme it now.

 

Hopefully some hot Hispanic women too.

 

Michelle Keegan wants to be in it and wouldn't mind doing a nude sex scene....

I think that's a pretty safe bet. Just gotta wait until next March/April. I'll be 25. Next football season will be nearly over. Tottenham will have another new manager. Maisie Williams will be turning 18.

It was great cheers. Some parts of Manaus are amazing, they have great food. A few good pubs/ clubs as well. It was great seeing England(and Pirlo) out there despite the loss. But damn it's a poor area, the stadium was half finished with tools etc left around. No food or drink at the stadium either. So many poor neighbour hoods, with some houses as big as a shed. There where prossies everywhere as well.

 

Aha that's taking it too far.

Ahh sounds fun. Was it as humid as Adrian Chiles was making it out to be? Suppose you can see why so many Brazilians are protesting then.

Maisie is always gonna look young, I think, and though Arya is meant to be like 9 in the books they left her age vague in the show. She'll be well into her twenties and still able to play a teenager with the right makeup and clothing choices.

 

Yeah was really humid, the heat wasn't that bad. It was just how humid it was that got to you and the mosquitoes!
