The best "festivals" I ever attended were pretty much raves after raves died down - couple of days in the highlands MWI with your mates DJing. TITP sounds just horrendous to me - I went to the first one in Strathy Park but it's full of nougats. The last good festival I went to was Connect in Inverary - my missus' parents have a house there and we had a cooked breakfast and a shower every morning plus the Mary Chain, Big Star and a couple of UR DJs played - there were no nougats in view at all. ****ing magic
Live at Loch Lomond was good as I had a cooked breakfast and shower every morning, bed at night in my OWN HOUSE
Best festival I went to was Glade a few years back ... Did Glastonbury 3 times And TITP countless times. Went to the Stone Roses at Heaton Park as well. The only time I will now go to a festival will be abroad... for some ****in sunshine!
Taking a ****e in an empty Tennent's box and then chucking it intae some prick's campsite. Cannae beat it.
Taking a tube of superglue with you and putting just a dab above the zip on some poor ****er's tent while they are sleeping. Magic fun.
Belter. I also took a kids megaphone to TitP one year. Left it on "siren" mode and hid it in an empty beer box at some ungodly hour on the Monday then packed up and ****ed off.
It's amazing how easy it is to make people's lives a misery if you just try and use your imagination.
The cruellest people at music festivals are the inconsiderate fuds who take acoustic guitars with them. No **** wants to hear anyone murder an Oasis song or listen to their contrived song about the girl who left them. Bigger ****s than the squads of neds who go about Scottish festivals.
