It's very heavily implied that he wants/wanted to go.

 

He doesn't say that, Solent Sport say that. Without more context (in other words, more of what he actually said) it's difficult to judge exactly what he meant.

About what? I'm not saying Lallana hasn't said he wants to go, or that he hasn't asked for a transfer, I've got no idea. I'm just saying Reed hasn't said he has, which based on that one quote, is true.

Whilst I would agree that it isn't Adam Lallana, walking along with Gary Neville, who is it..?

I've looked through a list of England staff in Rio and nobody looks remotely like the guy walking alongside Neville. Makes me think that it actually might be Lallana, only caught in an unfamiliar pose. It's a fallacy to think that photographs always show the truth.

It's a bit like the Luke Shaw story, someone said that what happened was that he was a bit drunk and with his mouth operating, but no brain engaged said he would love to play for Manchester United, in the Daily Mirrors eyes that was tantamount to a transfer request and it went on from there.

If a player goes that we really like to keep then we will fleece the club wanting to buy them and laugh all the way to the bank ready to buy a better replacement(s)
