Starting to quite like the mad Albanian. Also this job is becoming more and more like a place I come to use faster internet than I have at home and get paid.

Also while my manager is on holiday, the woman with the most annoying laugh in the office has moved to her desk, and now I have to deal with that.

Just been going through some invoices and it gets to the fun part where it's time to pay myself (this company is invoiced by my agency, which then pays me). Noticed on the invoice that there are three other temps somewhere in this building, who are with the same agency I'm with. I had no idea. I have their names and departments. Two are female.

This made me laugh....

This happened to an Englishman in France who was totally drunk.
The French policeman stops his car and asks the gentleman if he has been drinking. With great difficulty, the Englishman admits that he has been drinking all day, that his daughter got married in the morning to a French man, and that he drank champagne and a few bottles of wine at the reception and a quite few glasses of single malt there after.
Quite upset, the policeman proceeds to alcotest (breath test) him and asks the Englishman if he knows under French Law why he is going to be arrested.
The Englishman answers with humour: No sir, I do not! But while we're asking questions, do you know that this is a British car and my wife is driving... on the other side???

I think everyone knows this thread is for Joe and his stories.

 

There are two different wiki sites for GoT. One just has info for how far we've got in the TV show, and the other has all the book spoilers. I can never remember which is which so I don't go near either.

 

Well let's have some stories then!

 

I just had a BLT and now I think I might take a trip to the gents.

 

gameofthrones.wikia.com is safe. You can tell cause it's named after the show. I think sometimes characters have "In the books" sections but they're far enough down the page it's easily avoided.
