    Thought they looked ok, compared with the alleged quality of Nigeria and Ghana though possibly the weaker of the 4 Central African teams?

    african football is strange

    ivory coast with the 'superstars' never quite win the ACON, yet egpyt zamibia nigeria, all get to the final and win (apart from zamibia i believe or maybe im wrong) and ivory coast always seem to get a tricky group

    this year is the year of the elephant i believe though

    Because in the ACON the teams have to be made predominantly of domestic players. And the superstars couldn't gives toss. Those who do go put more effort into not getting injured mid-season than winning.
