Wilshere is insanely overrated. Gerrard has had a far better season.

I'm well aware that a midfield 2 consisting of Gerrard and Barkley would more than likely be ****, but watching Henderson actually hurts. Maybe even Milner and Gerrard.

Why are you so bothered about England's tactics and team selection matth?

You said you'd sooner have pins and needles than support England and that you can't wait for them to get knocked out of the tournament.

I agree with Drogs, I reckon Milner at CM would be good but as he's never tried it it simply won't happen.

It's finding the right combination, it's too soon for Barkley and Gerrard is going to be found out for what he now is, a one dimensional player who's getting on in years.

I think the best potential combo playing behind a three + 1 is Wilshere and Henderson.

Why do you want him to do well when you're hoping England get knocked out ?

Milner in CM is a great idea. He would be that annoying bastard just running and causing problems.

Why do you give a **** if people are saying Rooney plays s**t for England?
He plays good enough for Man United, thats all you should be concerned about.
I dont really follow England enough to comment, Saturdays game VS Italy was the first England game I have watched since England got knocked out of the last World Cup.....by Italy.
Didnt watch a single qualifier. I watch the World Cup purely because there are usually a few decent matches (none of which usually include England) and beside that have next to 0 interest in International football.

I was the same but I have really enjoyed this world cup so far. The last one all but killed the last off international football for me. Russia and qatar will certainly kill it off though.

I bet CR7 is wishing he was Welsh after that first half.
