This looks like the pick of the day, but then again, every single WC prediction I've made so far either on here or between friends has been catastrophically wrong.

Portugal's chances depend so much on the fitness of Ronaldo. Germany have fitness concerns of their own though. Hard one to call.

Germany is my second team. I was the only kid at school in 1990 who was both upset and excited after the semi-final!

"It's a surprise to see Lahm as a holding midfielder"

    No, it isn't.

So which of those centre backs is playing fullback? Howedes? Why not play Lahm there and Hummels holding mid?

It kind of is given they don't seem to have a right back.

They were debating whether or not he had the skills to play in midfield, pretty sure they were implying he was being played in an experimental position.

I have a grudging respect for Germany and Germans - they're very like us actually, just better at it. However I love the country Portugal, but I hate their reliance on diving and Ronaldo.

I'm really torn on this one.

That beardy guy for Portugal would make an excellent "Guess Who?" character.

    EDIT: Meireles

You've got to think it's a deliberate tactical decision given that all four defenders are predominantly CBs. Muscling up the back or something.
