There was nothing wrong with the goal-line technology in the France game, the commentator was a ****ing moron.
for arguments sake how does that work then, what proof do you have that the ball crossed the line?....it was a computer generated image not actual photographic evidence. I assume they are using the eight camera method within the stadium. Not crossbar or microchip technology. If so I assume at least one or two of those cameras would have been obscured by the keepers arm/body. I believe there was only one camera that showed a straight-on perspective and if the ball did cross the line it was by a miniscule but not from a camera with a preferred more accurate angle. But I thought the rules dictated if in doubt the ref should not give it, but assumption was made the technology is 100% accurate when it is not and not promoted as such.
England boss Roy Hodgson says his side will go on the attack against Uruguay even though defeat could mean a first World Cup group stage exit in 56 years. England lost their first match to Italy and defeat in their second Group D game on Thursday could see them go out. But Hodgson will not abandon the attacking philosophy adopted in the 2-1 defeat in Manaus, insisting: "We're not going to put any of our weapons down. "Any weapon we've got we are going to try to use." Mon ya ****s get it right up them latino bastards ****s
Uruguay did not look all that the other day, and Suarez is hopefully still lame. I think we can take this lot. I'm sure the lesser home nations will be rooting for our boys to do it for Blighty.
I hope he doesn't play Rooney on the left again. If U R Gay lose they'll almost certainly be out and the refs have been quite biased towards the SA teams... can see us all moaning about some dodgy penalty or disallowed goal come the end.
There's talk of Rooney getting played in the middle with Sterling being shifted to the left. Unfair on Sterling. Shifting your best player in the last game to accommodate the big 'name' in the team <do> just drop the ****
England will probably win and we'll be treated to numerous column inches telling us how the will now win it.
