    He's good enough to score an indivual goal like Messi and Robben have, it is basic football Manager psychology not to give your opponents something to prove and end up with egg on your face.

    He won't be fully fit and he can't do it by himself (well, he probably could if he was 100%).

    The psychology works two ways. Giving him something to prove could also distract him from the team game, and could perhaps make him nervous. All depends on his character. Hodgson is putting pressure on him.

    Suarez would probably have got 10 mins game time had things been going to plan on Saturday. The fact he didn't puts him back a bit. I'm not sure Uruguay will play that badly again even without him though.

    Still think we'll beat em though.

    Not sure 10 minutes would have done much for his fitness, considering how many hours they train for between matches.

    Training between matches is no substitute for actually playing. His physical fitness will be as good as his body allows, but even 10 minutes on the pitch might just have sharpened him up and given him a confidence boost.
