It has been strongly rumoured that he is in talks with Leeds Utd. Thoughts? Fulham are in the process of upping their bid for Ross. You will recall last week that a host of Premier and Championship clubs have expressed an interest in last years Championship leading scorer, to the tune of 5m; well, Fulham will go up to 7m. 7m is a lot of money, but if we sell our best players, especially to our fellow rivals, it does not exactly show intent, does it? Surely this week we should hear who will become our new Manager? Morning Elland and all. Seen a few Brazilians in the last week I quite fancy. Not sure if That's what Elland had in mind, hope not. Could be a struggle still to get a suitable coach in place this week. Clearly Cellino is struggling to get a grasp on the daft wages and compensation involved in English football. So if he's offering say 250k a year and candidate must be currently unemployed, that's shortening the list big time. We're basically shopping in same place as League 1 clubs. As for Ross, as I've said previously, if 7m is paid in one lump, grab it. Remember we'd also be saving on a huge salary as his replacement would likely be offered substantially less. I'm sure there are lots of Italians who would be happy to sign for 10k a week. Seemingly the Italians aren't too bad at the old Footie either

Well, IF it turned to anything near that and IF that money made its way back into the playing squad, we could maybe see a half dozen decent signings providing they can be spotted. That could make for an interesting season ahead. All depends on Mr Cellino of course
Good Morning Matt and co from a dull yes dull Bardsey Roque junior always springs to my mind when you think about Brazilians Ross will be sold for much less than £7m I think as for a new coach I still go for Gary Signings now this will be interesting I think he will go for young talent not old men I still have a mind that this fellow will be saying one thing but will quietly he harbours ideas of promotion he's a winner after all
Morning all, and so another week of if's, but's and maybe's to look ahead to. As far as the Bolton Brazilian goes, fook him he can't be that good. I agree with Mike that Ross will be sold for less than £5m and for the reasons stated. I think Ross goes to a lower prem side at best but may have his head turned with a big wage at Fulham. The coach thing worries me though because apart from Gary Mac I don't see a lot of choice in the bargain basement where we're shopping? I would love it if SG had written to Cellino and told him he was willing to come back as he had unfinished business, and on half the wages he was on before. As it happens Grayson has been our best manager for years
Morning all. £7m for Ross, even from a Championship promotion rival, is starting to get close to sale time. But if we did sell, particularly to a fellow championship sid, what does that say to the rest of the squad about our medium term ambitions? Not much. If so, expect Byram and others to start looking elsewhere.
true Boggers. They're all replaceable though. As for Byram, he needs to repeat two seasons ago. If he repeats last season, I dont think pl clubs will be banging down the door for him

Morning all £7m for Ross is probably getting very tempting for Cellino, though I still wonder whether he would move to another Championship club, Fulham will have parachute payments though and may make some other decent signings that just turn his head. Would be nice to see at least a manager/coach this week, if not a signing to show Cellino is actually still alive!
I won 300 quid on horses on Thursday which hasn't helped with the stakes on the world cup lol luckily I'm up atm but putting more on than I normally would
