Think he comes across as a bit of a sleazeball. When he talks sensibly about defending, it's worth a listen, but then he usually makes some **** jokes and flashes a toothy grin, and you imagine that that's the last thing loads of girls saw down Deansgate before they got fondled. Creepy bloke.
I expected that type of coment from other's on here. The guy said what 90% of people would have said. At the time it just looked a funny accident, when the seriousness of the injury was known the guy appologised as would most people. Can't say nowt these days without someone moaning.
90% of people aren't famous, in the public eye, intensely scrutinised, paid a fortune to come out with insights that we ourselves couldn't though.....
Now I understand, famous people can't spontainiously ( spelling ? ) comment on anything until the full ramifications are known.
Quite right, best not have ex footballers as pundits on the TV. Most of them were signed up with clubs before they became teenagers, and therefore not studying too much at school. Despite getting paid load's of money footballers in general are not the smartest cookies. Sad but true. Just realised, maybe you were talking about the guy who slipped on the water bottle whilst celebrating our goal, he should have been more careful and avoided the situation.
As I said, an excuse for people who dislike Rio to point and say 'LOOK AT WHAT HE DID!' While the rest of us look and ask 'What?'
