People are seriously doubting Cirrus Des Aigles as a yardstick, after 6 Gp1s and over £5 million in prize money?
BALLINDERRY BOY was priced at 14/1 with paddy power, but i didn't take it hoping another bookie would go bigger. No others have priced it up yet, but its been cut to 10/1. Do you think we should take that stick? Or hold out for hopefully a bigger price.
Afternoon All. Tomorrow's lucky 15, all @ Royal Ascot. 2-30.Toronado. 3-05.Kool Kompany. 3-45.Hot Streak. 4-25.Kingman. (Nap) Good luck to all.
I do not think that anybody is denying that Cirrus Des Aigles is a good yardstick (I am sure I have probably used that phrase somewhere recently) but he is not as good as he was when he chased home Frankel. I would say that he has run at least five or six pounds below that form the last couple of seasons but he continues to win, especially when the ground is soft, because the quality of the opposition in his races is generally not that great. His trainer places him to good effect; credit to her. I expect to see him on the Saturday of Arc weekend collecting the Group 2 Prix Dollar over ten furlongs because as a gelding he is ineligible for the big race itself.
It's not my selection but I'm going to be hammering the 25/1 Coral are offering about Gabrial Kaka in the a Royal Hunt Cup
