I sincerely hope that we drop Gerrard and Rooney for the next game. Gerrard has been rubbish for a long time now, and Rooney, although not a left winger, miss not as good as Sturridge in his own position. Can't see it happening though.

Personally thought Gerrard had a good game and is the only one in the squad capable of playing holding role. Roo is good back up. We just need a proper left sided player. Ox would be bold but maybe overly attacking. Maybe Lallana is the answer. Can't see Woy dropping Roo after his comments.

Cabaye has run the show tonight. 2-0 and Honduras down to 10.

France looked ok. Honduras were in the game until Palacios went on like a knob. They are gonna be whipping boys now as Palacios looked good for them and the big centre back seems to hold them together at the back. France, England and Italy all look to be putting strong young squads together for the next Euros. The Dutch, Spanish and Germans will always be there too. Then you have the Belgians. The next Euros could be really tasty.

They did indeed, but is to be expected from our representatives in Brazil. (cabs still an honoury member) ..even Moussa put in a slightly less dashing appearence.

France looked pretty damn good ( ok Honduras imploded which helped), definite dark horse feel about them for me

Apart from the first couple of games..it really has been a cracking WC so far
