Who needs enemies? We have a ****e manager, ****e players (apparently) but how can you enjoy the wc if you just look for fault at a player who plays for another team??

    Its boring

Lets just try and have a bit of unity ffs. It is the wc afterall <doh>

The good thing is, we improved on our last performance against Italy.

We may have taken them to pens that day, but at least we showed some attacking threat today.

That game could have quite easily finished 2-2 (and shame I didn't as I predicted that <laugh>)

watching the game earlier though, we have nothing to really fear against either of Uruguay and Costa Rica. Costa Rica look average at the back and Uruguay looked very average. If Suarez isn't 100% at it, then the rest of their team offer no real threat.

    We go again <diva>

Got a very good team now, just need the manager to let the good players play and drop the **** ones.

    Can Shaw play right back?

Potentially a good team (not there yet) just need to get rid of a few, but the defence is the worst part of the team.

I just wish I had the opportunity to enjoy it but yet again a **** manager spoils that.

You have a chance but the pressure is now on Suarez will be up for it and will defo play.

This. I'm not the most patriotic of guys, I sing along to the National Anthem no matter how **** it is, but when it comes to International football and tournaments I'm fully behind them. Put my club bias to one side and judge them as England players. Just so happened that the **** one plays for United <laugh>

Welbeck was decent today though, much better than I expected and glad he played.

These things only come round every couple of years so might as well enjoy it bcause after 3 games, could very well be all over and have to wait 2 more years. The nice thing about Internationals is we can all get behind it together. Fans you are normally at war with become friends and you all pull to the same goal.

Lets get behind the team and just do the Country proud.

Come on England, let's ****ing do this <ok>

Center backs are fine imo, just Johnson that needs sorting and he wasn't that bad tonight again imo, the main problem was Rooney not tracking back in the first half. How do you solve this? You move him to the opposite side and give Johnson problems!

The Italian winger was looking at MOM in the first half and was subbed in the 2nd.

Your problems were all up top imo, if Roy had started with Barkley and Lallana you win.

He is not going to drop Rooney by what he was saying after the game, Barkley for me not ready just yet but of a head down run like a chicken kind of player, Baines had a nightmare, Cahill was ok but ball watching for the second, Jagielka wasn't even playing was he and Johnson well the last 12 months don't know what has happened with him.

Johnson was fine... not sure why the bashing of him? hi and Welbeck did well in the first half, far better than the other combo down the left.

The thing today was, Sterling had to play centrally because his energy and pace would cause Pirlo problems defending, but I thought they'd say to Sterling, stand on Pirlo and don't let him get the ball. That either wasn't the plan, or Sterling didn't carry out the order (guessing the 1st otherwise he'd have been taken off) which is surprising as of the two of them, Sterling would be better at doing it than Rooney.

If that wasn't the plan... then play Rooney in the middle where he is 100% more effective and play Sterling out wide where he's just as effective as he is in the middle.

Best game of the tournament so far. Enjoyed that immensely. Spain Holland was a peach too, but lopsided and not as riveting.

England may have deserved a draw, if it wasn't for the fact that we're all tired and rightly unforgiving of same old same old toothless display.

It's not Hodgson's fault. It's the players. The white ones are too meat and potatoes athletically speaking <laugh>.

In cup comps he's just want you want though, no fear just run and shoot. Along with Sterling it gives you that threat. Baines was fine once he had cover. With the center backs I get your point but throughout they looked ok, I just though it was at the other end that you could have controlled it better.

Yes and over 50% of people are not England fans.

It's safe to assume anyone who chose #wideleft is a Uruguay/Costa Rica supporter.

I think Johnson is ok going forward but its his defensive positions/play that lets him down. Would make a good right midfield player though. But I thought it was better then 2012 performance.

Right I'm off to bed, have good night don't be too pissed off you have a chance of going through and the next game will be a cracker.

MOD reigns are passed to IBWT for the night.

    Basic rules:

    1. Gerrez does the work you just piss about
    2. Livtor isn't allowed to talk about Jesus
    3. Matth must be mentioned and slagged off every 3rd post
    4. Rooney is ****
    5. Brb & Minxy are the same person but the op isn't compete yet

    Have a good one.
