I disagree, the tempo is the problem and England don't play the usual tempo from the PL, the Italians are shouting "Ole". Look at the Dutch last night they played high tempo throughout with a spoiler in midfield.

England were good tonight but the attack lacked ideas Lallana and Barkley solve that but it was too late.

    --Hendo----Gerrard--
    --------Lallana-------
    Sterling-------Barkley
    -------Studge-------

It's clear to me and if Roy doesn't see that he's a fool.

Not really, he was saying that the pitch was the reason England lost, Italy had to play on it as well and managed to boss the game well enough and score a goal more. It's not like the pitch suddenly opened up it's ****tiness underneath the England players' boots and went back to being pristine every time an Italy player ran over it.

Rooney made our only goal, Baines was on his ****ing own against waves of attackers, and, whilst I've been on Johnson's back as much as anyone, I really don't think he was to blame for Balottelli's goal. Had he not tracked his man and had he then scored from the cross he'd have been crucified. Phil ****ing Neville - is he on vallium? Was like listening to Droopy.

Wayne Rooney's assist for Daniel Sturridge was the first time he has contributed to a goal in the World Cup (in his ninth appearance).

Yeah getting the ball back, but is that what an attacking play is known for? Thought it was hilarious with Rio and all praising a striker/AM for that.

I'm playing nice, thought you may have a chance of doing well but wrong manager and a hurt Uraguay and determined Suarez to come? In the ****.

We didn't just have Owen though we had Shearer , Beckham, Scholes and a good team around him.

I'm not one of these hate the England teams because I'm Welsh fellas, I'd be out of here and living in France if I had the choice. :)

I want the Liverpool lads to do well and then get frustrated by the change in play, just do what you do week in week out no need to change it's annoying!
