Jesus... trying to throw this away before half time <yikes>

Why did Hart just stand in no mans land and not drop back onto the goal line! Good header clear though.... then they hit the post!

Decent game of football. We've looked a bit dodgy in defence, but dangerous when we attack.

  3. Credit to Welbeck. I didn't want him on the side but he's played very well so far

Him and Johnson have done well down the right to be fair. Johnson hasn't done anything wrong yet.... lol

Think everyone has put in a shift apart from Rooney, even with my non biased hat on. Good cross for the goal, but not doing enough in defence or general build up.

Henderson has been pretty anonymous as well but feel he's in there to just do a closing down job in the middle.

Sterling and Welbeck the two best players so far. Rooney and Gerrard both quiet, Johnson hasn't ****ed up once yet, and we look a bit suspect down our left. Overall a decent enough performance, just need that killer pass and that little injection of urgency in our attacking play.

  8. Rooney is getting up and down but looks a bit lost. I wouldnt move or change him yet.

    Yep.

Sterling the best player on the pitch. Hart has made some crucial saves. We need to play a bit more adventurous.

Interesting listening to Rio & Henry. both praising Welbeck but saying he needs to take a risk and do something like Sterling has. that's the difference at the moment, Sterling has no fear and is trying things and if they don't come off... never mind, but Welbeck is playing it a bit safe.

    Physio dislocated his ankle <yikes>
Sounds painful. Get well soon Gary.

Can`t blame Henderson for this, it looks like they have been told not to close down in midfield so they can save energy for counter attacking. We are relying on winning the ball back in the last third.
