Probably my fav player, nice guy too It's always good to have decent people as well as decent footballers, like Curtis top man
6 mill for Robert Snodgrass? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-Norwichs-6m-valuation-prove-restrictive.html
If anyone is as bored as I am, here is a link to a May thread on a St Johnstone fan forum. There are 85 pages in the link, most are not recent though. The consensus is that May is not ready for the PL, but would be a decent back up. They think that if we offer 1-1.5 million that he is ours on the spot. I am a little surprised by the number of them that say if he signs for us they will come to the KC and watch some of his games. Must be quite the fan favorite. http://www.weareperth.co.uk/wapforum/index.php?/topic/19443-stevie-may/page-85
I think if you half Norwich's valuation of Snoddgrass then you will be somewhere close to his actual market value. Maybe even less as he only has a year to run on his contract
I do understand your point to an extent. However, still don't think he is the player we need, I live here and see lots of him. Daryll Duffy is a name that springs to mind too.... I have a friend that plays for St. Johnstone, I'll see if I can get any info and his opinion on him.
Lee Chung Yong rumours are starting up again. Great player, one of Bolton's most consistant attackers, he tore us apart when they thrashed us 4-1. I'm looking forward to seeing him play on the big stage. http://footballleagueworld.co.uk/hull-city-set-to-move-for-lee-chung-yong/?
Agreed though i suspect that £1m plus some add ons would be enough. Linking up with 2 scottish internationals would also appeal for May. Why ? Plenty of info available. Just google him. I would tend to agree with you. Players like Snodgrass with just a year left dont command or get £6m fees. Delia would have had a better chance with Paul Duffen mind. Not worth the reported fee. Not sure on this one..... true or not.
That would be a good buy certainly, he must be worth 4-6m, I would have thought he would have gone to a top 10 team a while back, was he injured? I think it was Megson that signed him, he got one thing right lol
Bordeaux aren't a top team in the french league (finished 7th) so I can't see him picking them over a prem team
http://footballleagueworld.co.uk/hull-poised-to-beat-west-ham-in-the-race-for-norwich-winger111/ According to this we have agreed a fee of £4M for Snodgrass and personal terms are being discussed later this week.
Would tie in with what has been doing the rounds on twitter by someone itk said a couple of days ago that the signing closest to happening was snodgrass
