1 game bad for 3 yellows but they are wiped out so a third one doesnt make them miss he final, 1 or 3 game ban for reds depending if its violent conduct.

Thats from memory so could well be wrong.

You were indeed correct Flyer regarding the NYR's - I went to bed in the 2nd period with LA 1-0 up, but once again NYR pulled it back to go 2-1 up, then blew it in the 3rd period forcing double OT, which looking at the highlights they came very close to scoring in before LA clinched it and the Stanley Cup.

I guess it just wasn't meant to be this year for that group of Rangers.

    That's a shame kilburn, I can't stand them.

Still, no one is as bad as the pens, I hate them at least as much as Chelsea.

Fifa to investigate Argentina's Falklands banner

Fifa has opened a disciplinary case against the Argentina FA in response to an incident in which players displayed a banner in support of their country's claims to the Falkland Islands.
The Argentina team posed with a banner supporting a campaign to claim sovereignty of the British Overseas Territory before a 2-0 friendly win against Slovenia in La Plata on 7 June.
Football's global governing body will investigate potential breaches relating to "team misconduct" and "prevention of provocative and aggressive actions".
The UK and Argentina went to war over the Falklands from April until June 1982, with 655 Argentine and 255 British servicemen dying.
Three people from the islands also died during the conflict.

    http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/27846311

Hands off, Argies! These'll soon be the richest islands on Earth: Oil off Falklands could earn islanders billions. And, as SIMON HEFFER found out, they're more than ready for a fight if their old enemy gets any ideas

Two oil companies are exploring the water off the Falklands
Around 350 million barrels could be below the northern sea bed
It is estimated that there could be ten times as much to the south
That much oil could make the Falkland islands billions, and leaves residents facing an unprecedented period of change
The islanders remain fervently British and willing to fight to stay so

Britain offered the argies 50% of the oil and they said no, they use the Falklands as a way of diverting attention away from the failings of their government.
Britain had the Falklands before Argentina was even a country.

Flyer, I find it funny how biased you are against certain NHL teams an ocean away?

I guess I don't really follow NHL, so a level playing field for me, but if watching a game, I generally root for the underdog (as NYR was in this case against LA + Rangers).

Here's a story you might like:-

My XL Property of CCM Hockey excellent sweatshirt was getting a bit threadbare after 25 years, so I recently purchased another XXL one on eBay for just $20 (listed as used, but obviously brand new - only $5 shipping, usual retail around $100) - grey in colour with Property of Atlanta Thrashers on the front - a defunct NHL team, but I really couldn't care less - it's just a great sweatshirt that I use when shovelling snow in winter, or at the beach in summer after swimming if cold. Unlike those R's Lotto shirts, where I needed a 4XL, they are made on the large side - XL was actually fine for me, XXL is quite roomy.

My large flyers jerseys are about 3 sizes larger than my xxxl QPR shirts.

Pronger was a legend for flyers fans for ripping about 8 teeth out of Crosby's mouth, it was his own fault, he shouldn't have been laying on his stick. Crosby is the NHLs Terry except he dives and whines more.

I see Colombia are the happiest people on earth, give everyone else cheap coke and I'm sure they'd be feeling pretty good too!

I also see adidas have finally worked out how to make a proper football that doesn't move around like a beach ball, it only took them about 20 years.

Certainly Colombia are happy with that early 1-0 lead over Greece - it shows if you get the ball into the box that anything can happen.

I wish someone would tell Redknapp that!

Its good for the game too, Greece would have come for a 0-0

Just reviewing the 1st half highlights and Greece had several good goal shouts themselves, so should be an interesting 2nd half.

2-0 Colombia now - an example of poor defending from a set piece (corner), that we have often been guilty of.

The forward at the near post did very well there, just get anything on it and put it into the danger spot, real NHL type thinking!

How the hell did he miss that? It was only four feet off the ground and he still managed to head it upwards.

Yes indeed, it almost seemed easier to head the ball into the back of the net, which would have Greece right back in this game.

I see for our match that Buffon is out with a twisted ankle suffered in training.

However it looks like wellbeck is playing so I don't think it will matter!
Usually the player goes onto score every time I say that.

    Colombia 3-0 Greece FT

"That officially is the worst miss of the World Cup so far. It's worse than Torres because there was no-one in front of him. He's two yards out, there's no goalkeeper and all you have to do is put it between the two white sticks.
"He's coming off and how must he be feeling right now?"
