Yeah, I know they might do a France and not even make it out of the group. But if they do...

I wouldn't bet against Spain yet. Gutted I have Chile in the sweepstake, as there's no chance they're getting out now.

Disagree Roland. Chile will beat Australia and they just need to beat either Spain or Holland and have a good chance of going through. It's a tight group and if it goes down to goal difference then Spain are in a tough position (though perhaps benefit from playing Australia last game).

Chile draw with Spain next week and Spain are out (Holland and Chile would surely just draw that last game).

Robben is a genius. Never gets the credit. Yes he is an absolute selfish arsehole, easy to hate, but the lad can play. I had a feeling this could be his time. I have to say though, the dutch are vulnerable too. I was impressed with Bruno Martins Indi, very Winston Bogarde. And young Blind, tremendous. Nowt like his dad, very energetic, very tenacious. But like his dad, had a bit of class.

The South American sides will be very much favourites on initial European displays. The Germans however will always hoy their hat in.

Chile are a very underrated side. Spain were lucky to snatch a draw against them last time. England, though depleted, were given a lesson. Sanchez is special. Watch out for Mena too if he plays. I think Spain are in deep **** now.

Yeah I had Chile in the sweepstake last world cup and they were great to watch. Sanchez was unreal and probably hasn't got any worse at Barca over the last few years. Spain may need to beat Chile and then wallop Australia by a hatful, then probably have the small task of facing Brazil... One game is all it takes to make things very sticky and Spain have that to deal with now.

Are Australia doing a Cool Runnings? <laugh>

Leckie and Oar are super quick, but have absolutely zero technical ability. They can't pass five yards! Still, it's doing the trick. After that goal, I'm cheering them now <ok>

    Tough one really.
As recent Euro champions they can't be taken lightly.
Still think they won't go the distance though.
