Been far too many good games us and the Italians will bring it back down to earth. Scrappy 1-0 to us or 1-1.

    Henderson or Wilshire?

    Hart
    Johnson Cahill jags baines
    Gerard hendo
    Lallana Barclay Wazza

    Sturridge

The iPads gone mad wi some of these names!

I'm just praying I'm not building myself for another England anti-climax .

I'd like them to start with Sterling and attack the Italian F......s from the off !

Seeing what the Dutch achieved last night with direct fast running I'd sling Sterling in.

Sterling ahead of Welbeck for me and Henderson will start in the middle, Wilshere's been ****e in the warm-up's.

    3-1 Baines, Sturridge, Rooney.

    Hart
    Johnson Cahill Jag Baines
    Gerard Henderson
    Lallana Rooney Sterling
    Sturidge

I can see Barkely and his direct running being used as a super sub for the last 20 minutes.

Exactly how I want us to set up. Tell sterling to run at them for 60 mins, then last 30 bring on milner and Barkley, diamond midfield 4 with Barkley been told to run at them,

I didn't think Wilshere was that bad in the warmups but even if he was I'd still play him ahead of Henderson. He's just a much better player. Picking Henderson screams 'keep it tight' to me and sounds like we could end up sitting deeper and deeper like last time we played them. They're no better than us so we should be attacking them. I'm sure other countries wouldn't pick a workman like Henderson over a footballer like Wilshere.

I would agree with that except Gerrard and Henderson have formed a formidable partnership for their club all season and I'd look to use it.

You need to get the balance right. I know Holland front three will get all the hype, but de Jong was class in front of the back four.

Spain have Busquets, Brazil have Gustavo and Argentina have Mascharano. They all are no frills players who do a job for the team.

    My Team

    Hart

    Johnson
    Cahill
    Jones
    Baines

    Barkley
    Henderson
    Gerrard

    Rooney
    Sturridge
    Sterling

My heart says 2-1 England, but my head says it'll be 1-1. Both team to nervous about losing.

I know people keep going on about Sterling but I've only seen him in the flesh once. Against us he was ****e. Worth pointing out there were four England players against us that day
Gerrard Henderson Johnson and Sterling, Sturridge was injured. We stuffed em and worth seeing again. gooooooooaaaaaaalllllllllll

Gerrard and Henderson is a must. Welbeck for his cutting in on a poor pitch. Balotelli has to be bullied out wide; our defence is better than some make out, but John Terry is a miss. Rooney to focus on pulling their back line apart. We will have good legs to come on and terrorise them after the hours up - I think there should be plenty of goals and a great game. Can't wait!! In the pub with the wife for it; it's going to be great.
