Planning on watching every game I can. Going to miss the 5pm ones during the week though due to work. Might catch the 2nd half of some.

Apart from England's which will mean finishing work early to get to the pub on time <ok>

  2. Opposite for me. They're on too late so miss the later kickoffs as I'll need sleep. Earlier kickoffs I watch / listen to whilst at work.

Bluff (Cameroon), Mighty_Stevie_G (Crotia) and DirtyFrank (Spain) so far not enjoying their sweepstake teams.

  10. First tournament I remember is Italia 90. Don't recall much of Euro 92 or USA 94 but Euro 96 was immense! France 98 was good too. I correctly predicted the right winners for France 98, Euro 2000, Japan 2002 and Euro 2004 #onarole

In a game they dominated and somehow lost due to one mistake.

    Bit different to a 5-1 thumping <laugh>

Didn't come from Amazon today - luckily! I'll do it tomorrow. Daughter whining as she has to go for a dump in the dark (or use the torch) if she gets up in the night. I just leave the door open and let the landing light shine through. Now she's wittering about how she can't wait to go to uni...

Mexico was mint. As was Mexico '70, for those of us THAT old. I was a kid then, but my dad always reckoned that was the best English team to leave these shores - better than the '66 team.

Why do you need to see? Surely once your sitting down you don't need to aim, just check the lid isn't still down and the seat is down. Don't want to fall through and get stuck.

  18. Spain dominated the opening 30-35 minutes. Holland pretty much scored their first against the run of play. Holland were definitely the better side after that though as the score suggests.

Dominated possession but had 1 chance (Silva) and got a lucky pen.

Sneijder has a chance so from that point was even.
