Great goal. Good game, and none of the theatrics of last night.

Terrific goal by the Dutch. Lawrenson has been excellent on the commentary, a few great comments.

I wonder if Koeman arrives, and if Shaw goes to ManU, if Buttner might be part of the deal.

Doesn't say much, and he is honest when he does talk. The 'Goal line technology' replays are laughable, so it was quite refreshing to hear him ridicule it.

Fair enough Tom, but I think there's at least doubt (as Lineker raised). I don't think it's a refereeing mistake though, as I mentioned.

It seems like I always disagree with you Tom, but I felt that he really played for that one.

I disagree, there wasn't even going to be any contact until the Spanish dude moved his feet into into the Dutch player.

What game are you watching/ Busquets is a disgrace as usual. Sending a terrible message to kids. "roll around like a ****ing fanny, and you'll get what you want."

Still isn't, though your opinion explains why refereeing is so cack these days. You're all more gullible than a dog.

I think Buttner burnt his bridges from last time. Do we rate him? Bit player for man utd and has something to offer going forward but very poor defensively IMO. Almost the opposite of Shaw.

The defender slid in rashly, Costa tried to cut inside and as he tried to put his foot on the floor he put his foot on a sliding De Vrij and the momentum of De Vrij took Costa down.

He tried to put his foot on the ground about 3 yards left and behind of where would have been natural though.

He certainly did not try to put his foot on the ground, he tried to get a penalty and that is what he got by putting his foot on the defender.

Really don't like that side of football, and it's sad that to be the best you have to do it.

I would have definitely given it in real time, but looking at it again there's no doubt he stuck his leg on De Vrij looking for the penalty.

Agree - I would be surprised in ManU tried it though. Evra still has one year at ManU doesn`t he ? Koeman will know all about him,of course.

It reminded me of the Fonte penalty given where he left a trailing leg which the forward gratefully accepted to fall over it!
