I went to the doctors surgery the other day. Following a full and intrusive investigation, he said to me, "have your eyes ever been checked?"

I replied, "no, they've always been blue."

A piece of black tarmac walks into a pub and orders a pint which he quickly downs. He orders a second pint and does the same. He's halfway through his third pint when into the bar walks a piece of red tarmac. On seeing this, Black tarmac leaves his unfinished pint on the bar and legs it out of the pub in double quick time, looking terrified.

The following night, the black tarmac is back in the same pub and is on his third pint when the barman says to him, "I don't wish to intrude and tell me to mind my own business if you like, but what was the matter with you yesterday, I've never before seen you leave behind an unfinished pint and you left so quickly." Black tarmac replied, "well didn't you see that piece of red tarmac come in last night?" "Of course I did", came the barman's reply, "so what, he's OK isn't he?" Black tarmac looked at him in bewilderment and said, "no, he bloody well isn't OK. You don't know him like I do, he's a cyclepath."

Hey Minxy. I see you made a rare appearance on the 262 shoutbox - and were totally ignored! Typical. Somes the site up really, there is a clique on there consisting of about three who only want to talk amongst themselves, either about UKIP, (one of them is a newly elected UKIP councillor), or Doncaster Rovers. I wouldn't mind but they do it on the Luton board!

Try again Minxy on the actual topics and if I'm about I'll respond, although I've not been on myself since 22nd May. Start a topic on Peterborough and see if you attract the insults I do!
