Has anyone ever sat down and worked out our wages to minutes played ratio - I would imagine it's quite embarrassing. How long is left on his contract, does anyone know?

    I'm sure he's already left.

This has no bearing on us.

Just bear a thought for the poor chap.

To be a sportsman and plagued by injury must be a desperately frustrating.

Hopefully we have learnt our lesson with buying players with injury problems ???? Surely ?

I was under the impression that clubs like ours have insurance policies for situations like this, or is it similar to seeking flood insurance in a flood plain?
(apologies to those who have indeed been flooded)

It true, I am sure no professional sportsman would want to spend most of his/her time on the medic table.

We dont say Ale should hit the road, and the club not support someone that has had 2 cruciate ligament injuries ??

I know that mate but spare a thought for a bloke pocketing tens of thousands a week for doing nothing? I'm sure a night with half a dozen page 3 type models out in Marbella will help ease his torment.

Sorry mate but sometimes I feel like some folk aren't living in the real World at all.

It would be a misplaced generosity for QPR to offer him another contract as a result of the injury. That loyalty should only be shown to great servants of the club, like Faurlin.
Tell him he can use the club's medical facilities as long as he likes, can train with the squad whenever needed... but that his services on the pitch aren't wanted anymore.

He signed in January 2013 for 18 months so his contract expires this month

Whatever the contract status, this kind of injury is something that needs careful treatment. I'm pleased that he's able to enjoy the time with his wife and daughter in Marbella, before any operation, because that won't be an easy thing, and recovery back to full fitness is always a bit of a coin-toss with knee ligaments.
