Well, looks like this one is petering out into a draw already. 1 wicket taken. No doubt Sri Lanka will bat all day tomorrow and get to a total close to ours before we then get another 300 and draw the match. Pitch offering nothing to the bowlers apart from the first 30 overs really. Don't know why they don't make pitches that will offer something to bowlers so might actually get a decent game.
After a game that looked like it would just peter out into a dull draw... if England can get Sri Lanka out early tomorrow morning and have a lead of even 100, would give them a great chance for victory. Bat until about tea, get a lead of 350/400 and then give themselves a day and a bit to bowl Sri Lanka out on the final day.
