This is a super signing. He is one of the best midfielders around. Big improvement on what we have in midfield. I was surprised we finalised this deal so quickly but I like that we are getting our business done early!
Agree 100%. This and assuming Costa goes through balances our side out really well. 2 genuine world class players added to the squad. Can't believe we got him at that price and can't believe how under valued he was at Barca - always saw him as Xavi's long term replacement. Rativik is a good player but can't defend for **** so they'll have to play him further forward and have to replace Xavi again now at some point. On top of this, it's pissed off the gooners as well, perfect
I did EC, Frank and Mikel are not the players to spark our midfield into action, Ramires gives us nothing except energy and is 10 times more reckless than Luiz . All are able to do a job for us, but none give the midfield what it lacks, control and creativity. Fabregas can do ,in theory, so yes, he is an improvement. But I don't see him in the same league as Pogba or Modric. So instead of rejoicing, it seems to me to be an opportunity lost.If we do get either of the other 2 as well, then Fabregas will be an excellent addition, but the main man?? Not for me, but as I said, hope Im wrong and good luck to him.
Will be very interesting to see how this works out. Most Barca fans wanted Cesc gone for about a year.
