Leonard's a game changer certainly, what about Tim Duncan though, how old is he now 36/ 37. I remember him and Robinson together, wonderful.

Sonics were the team I used to mainly follow I was a huge Payton fan and that's why I now follow SAS, Parker is amazing.

Oh! And Knicks, load of ****e my most hated team along with this Miami team, bunch of bullies no skill.

You probably don't remember Frazier and Reed in the 70's for the Knicks. Ewing you probably do, his merchandise was maybe the first to make it over here. I love their aggressiveness, maybe because I'm the opposite - <laugh>

Yeah I remember Ewing and you're spot on with the contrast.

First game I ever watched was Lakers v Celtics when Bird hit that court long shot to win the final.

Not a million miles away. <laugh> Build wise, I'm far stockier than John (I'd been into weight-lifting from an early age and only gave up about 8 years ago, but can still bench 100+kg when I can be bothered!).

Facially, when I was younger I was always told I resembled David Batty, although I think I was a bit more handsome than that. :bandit:

That was the first replica jersey that came into the house, followed by many, many more. One of our downstairs rooms is USA themed, complete with framed jerseys. My lads got to a far higher standard playing than me, and still play, been on American bball camps, got college jerseys, dvd's you name it. We were lucky enough to see Orlando Magic in America, also seen the Rockets and Globetrotters!

    Very impressive <applause>

Part of the reason I 'see' you as Malkovich is his complexity, you are a complex chap are you not? Meant as a compliment just in case there's a negative way of seeing that <ok>

It's one of the things I want to do (see a live game) I'm off to Disney in 2 years time I may try and sort it then. First shirt I had was a Sonics one with Payton on the back.

Not that impressive, TBH. I first benched 100kg when I was at my thinnest (for me!) and was 17-yrs old and about 13.5 stone. I'd be depressed if at nearly 1.5 stone heavier and 20 years older I couldn't do the same, even if I'm doing (far) more cardio than weights.

As to the complex character thing, I'd say: aren't we all? There are rich histories behind each and every person on here, even some of the annoying and hate-filled ones (mostly rival fans!). I'm no more complex than the next poster . . . please be RHC! :bandit:

Well yes you're right, as humans we're all complex. But, in terms of how people represent themselves on here, you're quite deep... e.g the philosophy thread. RHC [not Robbie Coltrane lookalike] is Mr Intellgent, every bit as complex as you say, but hides his light under a bushel <laugh>

Still a good amount though. I'm 75kg right now and don't want to get any heavier, max bench is probably about 60kg but I normally do less and higher reps, not much for serious lifters but I only lift to train for other sports. If I got bigger my movement and agility would suffer. My back is royally fooked right now though so I can't train properly and have zero of either. Spent half an hour on the static bike tonight and did some light lifting and stretching but F me was it harder than it should be. A heat patch and will power got me through.
