The best bets are Taribo West or Rigobert Song.

Holland v Brazil results have over the years been good for Holland with three wins, four draws and four defeats and I expect the Dutch to do well in Brazil. Mostly I think that when Holland beat Brazil they normally get through to the final so it's too difficult for me to predict who will do what. I don't know the format but I'm going for Holland under LVG to spring a surprise or two.

Wouldn't it be best if Holland were eliminated in the first round? The collective nervous breakdown of Man Utd fans would make it worthwhile!

That's what I'm looking for HBIC but I don't think it will happen. Holland are good against Brazil so I think will be good in Brazil.

Netherlands. I've made the mistake of calling Netherlands (Holland) before, although the offical tourism site is www.holland.com (which is because most foreigners still call them Holland!

They have to get out of the group first, and that's where their record gets interesting...
    vs Spain: W4 D1 L4
    vs Chile: N/A
    vs Australia: W0 D2 L1

Iran vs Switzerland could have some spice to it after the Swiss public voted to ban mosques from building minarets, even though the Swiss government initially rejected any notion of a ban. Suffice to say that where England has Britain First, Switzerland has the Swiss People's Party.

Yep, don't ever call The Netherlands 'Holland' when you're around people from outside the Randstad, it's like calling a Welshman and Englishman. You'll get a fist in the face.

  17. I think Argentina will win the World Cup.

Rooney will be the biggest flop (yet again).

Barclay will be England's best player (if given the chance to play).

There's the first of the surprises I said Holland would spring. Tip them for the final if they beat Brazil on the way.
